Loose tongues sink ships. This is exactly why I don’t have my mortgage with any local Enfield banks. Because its way too easy for personal information to be shared. I’d rather pay a lil’more to have my personal information out of reach.

Hey, isn’t one of the Enfield councilmen the manager of a new bank in Enfield? Wonder what he thinks of all this?

Owning a oil company isn’t grounds for someone to drive their personal vehiclesaround with dealer plates. Clearly, some folks in Enfield feel they’re specialand above the law. Even worse, those who are suppose to be enforcing thelaw, haven’t been doing their jobs.

If the head of the State ethics committee had to get rid of his VT
license/plates and register his car in CT cuz the State was losing out onrevenue, then so should these locals. Enfield taxpayers are losing out onsome much needed revenue here. Maybe they could even collect some back taxes?

“And early in the morning He came again into the Temple, and all the people came unto Him; and He sat down, and taught them.”
“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto Him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the Law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest Thou?”
“This they said, tempting Him, that they might have to accuse Him.”
“But Jesus stooped down, and with His finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not. So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground.”
“And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”
“When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?”
    “She said, No man, Lord.”
“And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” (John 8:2-11 KJV)

None of us are pure although we each belive that we are better than others. We are not. We each try to live our lives as good people. We all fall but we rise again hopefully learning from our failures. Some lose their way and in the end they will be judged.

Those of you looking for a public hanging are no better than those at whom you point your finger. Can you cast the first stone?

Every 2 years you have the right to vote for your town officials. You have the right to be heard and you should be heard. Get out of your chair and call your councilman. Ask about the corruption you see in this blog. Aak about taxes, schools, roads, or whatever is important to you. Share your opinions. Let him share his. If you are scared to share your name, don’t. If you are more comfortable behind your keyboard, send an email. The exchange may surprise you. It surprised me.

Remember that the issues facing Enfield transcend the political parties. Neither has a lock on the right answers. Who has the better ideas? Make the call and ask.
